76TH U.S. JUNIOR AMATEUR
The U.S. Junior Championship is considered among the most difficult of all USGA championships to win. To earn a spot in the field, male golfers aged 18 and younger must be ranked among the world’s top amateurs or successfully advance through one of 42 qualifying events held in late spring and early summer.

Winning the Junior Amateur has marked a pivotal moment in the careers of future major champions, including: Johnny Miller (1964), David Duval (1989), Tiger Woods (1991, 92, 93), Brian Harman (2003), Jordan Spieth (2009, 11), Scottie Scheffler (2013)
