MATCH PLAY PARKING: All fan parking is at BLUE LOT only for match play rounds. Red & White Lots Unavailable.

Tickets & Admission

All rounds of the 76th U.S. Junior Amateur are open to the public and free to attend. No tickets are required to enter the gates.

Spectators will enter through the public gate located on the east side of Gilbert Lake Road north of Maple Road. Enterting the property from any other point is prohibited and considered tresspassing.

MONDAY, JULY 22
First Round, Stroke Play | North Course & South Course 
7:00 a.m. - Morning wave play begins on the 1st and 10th tees at both courses 
12:15 p.m. - Afternoon wave play begins on the 1st and 10th tees at both courses  

TUESDAY, JULY 23
Second Round, Stroke Play | North Course & South Course 
7:00 a.m. - Morning wave play begins on the 1st and 10th tees at both courses 
12:15 p.m. - Afternoon wave play begins on the 1st and 10th tees at both courses 

WEDNESDAY, JULY 24
Match Play | South Course 
7:00 a.m. - (If Required) Playoff for final match-play spots begins on North Course 
8:00 a.m. - Round of 64 (64 players, 32 matches) begins from the 1st tee of the South Course 

THURSDAY, JULY 25
Match Play | South Course 
7:00 a.m. -  Round of 32 (32 players, 16 matches) begins from the 1st tee of the South Course. 
1:00 p.m. -Round of 16 (16 players, 8 matches) begins from the 1st tee of the South Course. 

FRIDAY, JULY 26
Match Play | South Course 
7:00 a.m. -  Quarterfinal (8 players, 4 matches) begins from the 1st tee of the South Course. 
1:00 p.m. -Semifinal (4 players, 2 matches) begins from the 1st tee of the South Course. 

SATURDAY, JULY 27
Match Play | South Course 
8:00 a.m. - Initial Round of 36-Hole Final Match begins from the 1st tee of the South Course. 
1:30 p.m. (approx.) - Final Match continues from the 1st tee of the South Course.

Parking and Transportation

There is no on-site spectator parking at Oakland Hills. For match play rounds, complimentary spectator parking with shuttle service to/from the Championship is provided at

Shuttle service begins at 6:00 a.m. daily with the final return shuttle departing Oakland Hills 30-minutes following the conclusion of the day's play.

Ride Share & Passenger Drop-Off

Ride share services and passenger drop off is only permitted at Lot C – 3856 W. Maple, which is a short 5-minute walk from the Public Spectator entrance.

Ride share vehicles are NOT permitted to pick-up or drop-off at any other location around the Championship grounds. All other on-location parking lots is by permit and parking pass only.

Bus & Bike

There are multiple SMART Route 780 Crosstown Bus stops located on both sides of Maple Road adjacent to Oakland Hills Country Club. Visit the SMART website for daily schedule. View Route Map

Bike racks are conveniently located at Lot C – 3856 W. Maple. Owners are responsible for the security of their bicycle.

Security and Prohibited Items

All individuals entering Championship gates will go through security screening and will not be allowed to bring any of the items listed below. Please be sure to read the following list of prohibited items carefully:
  • No Weapons (regardless of permit, including but not limited to firearms or knives)
  • No Explosives and/or Fireworks of any kind
  • No Tablets and/or Computers (mobile devices smaller than 7" are permitted, subject to mobile device policy)
  • No Drones
  • No Selfie Sticks or Handheld Camera Stabilizers
  • No Cameras (point and shoot, film, or DSLR) or Video Cameras
  • No Noise-Producing Devices (including radios, TV’s, or portable speakers)
  • No Backpacks, Briefcases, Purses and/or Bags larger than 6" W x 6" H x 6" D in their natural state
  • NOTE: Transparent/clear plastic hand and shoulder bags no larger than 12" W x 12" H x 6" D are permitted.
  • No Signs, Posters, Banners and/or other Sports Paraphernalia or Memorabilia
  • No Food and/or Beverages except for medical or infant needs
    • Water Bottles (32-ounce size or less, no glass) are permitted provided they are empty upon arrival.
  • No Glass and/or Coolers except for medical or infant needs
    • NOTE: Aerosol Cans, Spray Bottles, and/or Personal-care items (3.4 ounces or less) are permitted.
  • No Pets or Emotional Support Animals (only trained service dogs as defined by the ADA)
  • No Lounge Chairs and/or Oversized Chairs
  • No Ladders and/or Step Stools or other similar items
  • No Bicycles, Segways, Scooters, or other personal transportation devices allowed inside Championship admission gates (other than used for individuals with mobility disabilities)
  • No other items or actions deemed unlawful, dangerous or disruptive by the USGA and/or Championship Security Personnel, in their sole discretion
The USGA reserves the right to amend the List of Prohibited Items at any time to provide a safe and secure Championship.

Mobile Devices & Cameras

The USGA encourages fans to capture their favorite moments at our championships and stay connected with family and friends while onsite. We have set guidelines on mobile device usage to ensure our players and other fans are not distracted or disrupted during the championship.
  • Fans may carry mobile devices smaller than 7” in length and/or height.
  • Device volume controls must be set to “silent” or “vibrate” and flash photography must be disabled.
  • Phone calls should be limited to areas away from play and not in any area that may disrupt play, including grandstands.
  • Photography, video, and audio recording are permitted throughout the courses, but content must not be used for commercial purposes. 
  • Live streaming or shot-by-shot coverage of any player (with or without video) is not permitted at any time throughout championship week. 
  • All posted signage and instructions from championship staff and volunteers must be observed.
  • Conducting a championship for the best junior golfers in the world is our primary focus. Violation of any of the above policies may result in immediate expulsion and loss of ticket privileges for the remainder of the championship.

Camera/Photography Policy

Photography, video, and audio recording are permitted throughout the course, but content must not be used for commercial purposes. 

Live streaming or shot-by-shot coverage of any player (with or without video) is not permitted at any time throughout championship week. 

Concessions

A variety of food and beverage offerings will be available throughout the Championship. A majority of these offerings can be found at the central concession tent is located along the fairway of #1 South. Additional snacks and refreshments can be purcahsed from the on-course snack shacks. All major credit cards accepted.

Autographs

A “no autograph” policy is in effect through the championship rounds. Volunteers and spectators should not approach a player for an autograph from the time immediately preceding the player’s starting time up to, and including, the completion of his round. This includes any time when the player is at the practice range and practice green and enroute to the first tee.

Weather

Both the North Course and South Course offer limited shelter from summer weather. Please remember to wear sunscreen, stay hydrated, and bring rain gear for days when inclement weather is anticipated. 

Spectators are encouraged to utilize personal mobile devices to regularly monitor weather conditions. When the potential for severe weather is present, spectators are advised to take immediate precautions and begin departing the grounds PRIOR to play being suspended. 

The USGA will have a meteorologist on-site monitoring the possibility of dangerous or inclement weather. If hazardous weather conditions are approaching, special “weather alert” notices will be posted on the USGA Championship website and mobile application. If play is suspended, indicated by one prolonged air-horn blast, please close your umbrella and seek shelter immediately.  

Fan Conduct

To ensure a positive experience for all fans and players, the fan code of conduct will be enforced at all times. Fans will be subject to expulsion and loss of ticket privileges for unruly, disruptive, unsafe or illegal behavior, including:
  • Making rude, vulgar, or other inappropriate comments or gestures.
  • Verbal or physical harassment of players, volunteers, officials, or fans.
  • Yelling and/or distracting a player or any disruption of play or fan environment.
  • Inappropriate use of a mobile device.
  • Failing to stay behind gallery rope lines.
  • Refusal to follow the instructions of championship officials, volunteers, security personnel or posted signage.

Golf Shop

The Oakland Hills Country Club Golf Shop will be open daily a wide selection of U.S Junior Amateur and Oakland Hills Country Club branded items including apparel from leading brands such as Peter Millar. All major credit card accepted.

Children & Stollers

Fans of all ages are invited to attend the U.S. Junior Amateur. Parents are encouraged to be highly observant of Championship play to avoid any potential disturbance of players or fellow spectators. 

Strollers of compact collapsable design are permitted to be brought into grounds. Please note, minimal cart paths are available throughout both courses. Sealed child-friendly snacks and formula are allowed. Water bottles must be empty when going through gate security.

The championship lost & found is located at the Oakland Hills Country Club golf shop.
